On site parking close by – there is no on-site parking – the castle is only accessible from the towpath and the Colt Hill car park which is a mile and half away down the towpath.

This is an amazing little find. A lovely walk along a disused canal to find this gem of a castle. It is said that King John left Odiham Castle to journey to Runnymede to sign the Magna Carta. There is parking for a few cars just before the canal and normally there’s a place free.
